Letters is a series of 1,000 hand-drawn digital artworks that intertwine gestural techniques of mark-making and tagging with the expansive possibilities of repetition, creating a dialogue between the concepts of communication, exchange, and transaction in a digital era. Drawing from the “envelope” symbol, which has long served as a vessel for intimate messages and negotiations across distances, these works embody the personal act of sending through networks of existence. Through flat compositions preserved on the Ethereum blockchain, this series marries the raw immediacy of manual creation with the permanence of distributed technology. Send more mail.

In October 2026, on the fifth year observance, Letters were turned into physical form via postcards. From a digital decentralized network to a physical centralized service, these Letters were sent again. Presented at Art Blocks Artist Fair in Marfa, Texas as an in person mail sending service.
